QuickBooks Online (Intuit) Integration
Xeris Landscaping operates an internal business application (the "Hub") that connects to QuickBooks Online, a product of Intuit Inc. ("Intuit"), through Intuit's authorized APIs. This section explains how we handle data accessed through that integration.
- What we access: When an administrator of our QuickBooks Online company authorizes the connection, the Hub accesses QuickBooks data such as customer records — including names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, and account balances.
- How we use it: We use this data solely to operate the Hub's features, such as displaying our customer list, creating customer records, and supporting invoicing and bookkeeping workflows. We do not use data received from Intuit APIs for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- Storage and security: Authentication tokens that permit access to QuickBooks are stored securely with restricted access and are rotated periodically. Access to QuickBooks data within the Hub is limited to authorized Xeris Landscaping personnel.
- Sharing: We do not share data obtained from Intuit APIs with third parties except as necessary to provide the Hub's functionality, or as required by law.
- Retention and revocation: An administrator may disconnect the integration and revoke the Hub's access at any time from within the connected Intuit/QuickBooks account, which stops any further data synchronization.
- Compliance: Our access to and use of information received from Intuit APIs adheres to the Intuit Developer Terms of Service and applicable Intuit data-handling requirements.
